Q: You're not a teacher - what makes you qualified to teach these courses?
A: You're 100% correct - I'm not a teacher. However, having graduated in 2015, I have something teachers don't have: recent high school experience. I know what it's like to be in a high schooler's shoes, and having attained a 99.4 ATAR I know how to excel.
What's more, I've worked as an English, Maths and Physics tutor since graduation. I've also given talks at my old school to the Literature and Design Graphics classes. These experiences have given me the ability to communicate and pass my knowledge onto high school students.
Q: Who are these courses for?
A: These courses are primarily for year 12 ATAR students in Western Australia.
Q: I'm a year 10 student - will these courses still be useful?
A: Definitely! While the courses are aimed at helping year 12s past the WACE (Western Australian Certificate of Education), they still contain great content for younger students.
What's more, learning the skills in these courses in year 10 or 11 will make year 12 even easier, because it will set you up with good habits for the future.
Q: I'm an ATAR student, but I'm not studying in Western Australia - should I do your courses?
A: Again, our content is tailored for WACE students. However, roughly 80% of all our content (particularly the study-based stuff) is applicable to all Australian subjects. Things like essay structure (which is explained in detail in 'Ace ATAR Literature') are applicable for all Australian literature students.
